01 - Place honey and chili flakes in a small saucepan over low heat.
02 - Gently heat mixture for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not allow to boil; maintain low heat to infuse flavors.
03 - Remove from heat and let steep for 10–15 minutes for deeper heat intensity.
04 - Pour honey through fine-mesh sieve to remove chili flakes, or leave them in for added spice and visual appeal.
05 - Stir in apple cider vinegar if using, to brighten flavor.
06 - Transfer to clean airtight jar or bottle. Cool completely before sealing. Store at room temperature for up to 3 months.
